Attendance: What If I Can't Make It To Class?

Puppy Socialization & Training Memberships

If you are unable to attend puppy class on your reserved day, we recommend that you drop into classes before or after the day(s) you cannot attend. 

If your puppy has a contagious illness (kennel cough, etc.), please do not attend until it is out of your puppy's system.  Email us and we may be able to add time to the end of your membership.

We cannot pause your membership to accomodate surgeries. If you must schedule your spay or neuter surgery before your membership expires, aim for the day of or the day after your puppy class. 

For example, if you have Saturday and Sunday classes, schedule the surgery for Monday so that your puppy can attend the following weekend.  Puppies can usually attend class the week after their surgeries, though they may need to sit out of play times. (Girls usually need more recovery time than boys, due to the nature of the spaying vs. neutering).

Other Classes

If your dog is unable to attend a session of your class, but you can, the best option would be to attend the class without your dog.  Otherwise, you (the human) may attend that session of another section of that class, if there is one running concurrently.  For example, if you'll be missing the 3rd session of your Basic Manners class, you could attend the 3rd session of a different Basic Manners class.   Please email us to let us know about your absence and see whether there is enough space in that other class for your dog.
